I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biology (2021) and Master’s degree in Molecular and Functional Biology (August 2024) from the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
During my studies, I worked in Professor Drobne’s laboratory, where I gained hands-on experience in:
- Enzyme adsorption/inhibition assays (e.g., AChE)
- Cytotoxicity testing (MTT assay, Neutral Red Uptake assay, Resazurin assay, differential staining methods)
- Cell cultivation
- Light, fluorescence, and electron microscopy
- Sample preparation for SEM and FIB/SEM
- Spectrophotometry and spectrofluorometry
- Genotoxicity testing (Comet assay)
In October 2025, I began my interdisciplinary doctoral studies in Biosciences, with a research focus on Nanosciences at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. My primary research interest lies in the biological reactivity of nanomaterials.
