I graduated in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2022. The title of the thesis is: Evaluation of the anticholinesterase and anti-glutathione S-transferase potential of organic extracts from wood-decay and mycorrhizal fungi.

After the master’s degree, I became interested in studying and testing the biological potential of various nanomaterials and nanoparticles and the molecular interaction of AChE with nanomaterials, and then joined the Bionano group.
