Although Bionanoteam is already a partner in some of the largest EU-FP7 projects in the NanoSafety domain, we are open for new collaborations.

Besides research inquiries, please contact our principal investigator for toxicology consulting offers or expertise requests.


Students and researchers

We are not accepting any undergraduate students at the moment.

If you have an outstanding academic background, are highly motivated, and scientifically curious, we might consider you as a PhD student. If we are not able to provide funding, we can guide you to the appropriate funding agencies in Slovenia. Please get in touch with us earlier in the application process.

At the moment (spring 2012) we are looking for a chemistry student to pursue a PhD with our team. Please contact us if you are one or know of one.

Bionanoteam is a research group at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana.

Founded in 2008 by Prof. Damjana Drobne, Bionanoteam currently consists of fourteen members of which two are PhD researchers, nine graduate, and three undergraduate students. Damjana is a Professor of Zoology and Professor of Toxicology from University of Ljubljana. With over twenty years of research experience, she is the founder and principal investigator of Bionanoteam.
