My main research activity is studying interactions between nanoparticles and biological systems. I focus on linkage between cell membranes alterations and oxidative stress. I also study cellular responses to in vivo nanoparticle exposure with proteomic tools.

My research interests are also in:

  • biomarkers,
  • oxidative stress,
  • lipid peroxidation,
  • cell membrane stability,
  • proteomic tools,
  • physical and chemical properties of nanoparticle suspensions.

Methods and machines I specialize in::

  • Microscopy,
  • Spectrophotometry,
  • Fluorimetry,
  • Proteomics,
  • Cell membrane stability (AO/EB),
  • Lipid peroxidation,
  • Lysosomal membrane stability,
  • Metabolic activity.
